With the cab back on, it was time to dress up the windows.
I had a large  piece of cherry so I used the table saw to rip it into strips and then the precision miniature table saw to cut the strips for sills and uprights. The uprights were notched to hide the metal edges. The pieces went thru the thickness sander to remove saw marks and give uniform thickness and then thru the edge sander to true up the edges.


The wood was fitted to the window openings and glued into place. When the glue was set, the frames were sanded and stained with cherry stain. When all the windows have been completed, they will all get varnished.


And the work continues! Maybe the end is in sight ......
